A Novel Nanoparticle Self-Assembling Method for Forming Core-Shell Nanohybrids

Description:

Researchers at FAU have developed a novel production method of core-shell nanohybrids. This  method allows for the simultaneous formation of these core-shell nanohybrids when the two types of nanoparticles are mixed together. This production process does not utilize any organic chemicals such as reduction agents, ligands or surfactants. Additionally, the produced core-shell nanohybrids are  stable and tunable for a variety of potential applications.
