As autonomous vehicles continue to increase, more and more people will find themselves in a vehicle with autonomous capabilities. Although many find this new technology exciting, others experience anxiety and fear over the loss of vehicle control. This technology allows a vehicle to “read” a driver’s emotions and react accordingly. Information is collected both indirectly and direct from the driver based on facial expressions, sensors within the handles/seats, and thermal cameras among other monitoring devices. Additionally, the mood control system contains real-time learning mechanisms that can continue to learn the driver’s moods over time.
